Dining Room Attendant/Supervisor Drummond Catering Kalgoorlie, Goldfields WA Waiting Staff (Hospitality & Tourism) Full time $80,000 $100,000 per year About the Role We are seeking a reliable and proactive Dining Room Supervisor to oversee the daily operation of our dining area and ensure an excellent experience for all guests. This role involves supervising front-of-house support staff, maintaining a clean and organised environment, and working closely with the kitchen team to ensure buffet service runs smoothly. Key Responsibilities - Supervise and coordinate the work of support staff including kitchen hands and cleaners - Ensure the dining room, buffet areas, and service stations are clean, organised, and presentable at all times - Monitor stock levels of dining room supplies (cutlery, crockery, condiments, napkins, beverages etc.) and ensure all items are fully stocked - Work closely with chefs to ensure the buffet remains tidy, well presented, and adequately stocked - Notify kitchen staff promptly if buffet items are running low - Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in dining and service areas - Provide a welcoming environment for guests and actively obtain feedback from diners regarding their experience - Respond to guest enquiries or concerns in a professional and timely manner - Assist with setting up and packing down dining areas as required - Support the wider team to ensure efficient and smooth service periods Skills & Experience - Previous experience in hospitality, dining room supervision, or restaurant service - Strong leadership and team supervision skills - Excellent communication and customer service abilities - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - High attention to cleanliness, organisation, and presentation - Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams Personal Attributes - Friendly and approachable with a strong focus on guest experience - Reliable and responsible with the ability to lead by example - Strong organisational skills and attention to detail - Positive attitude and willingness to support team members when needed What We Offer - Supportive team environment - Opportunity to play a key role in delivering an excellent dining experience - Ongoing work with a respected hospitality team Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 $100,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
