Waste Labourer with Forklift + Front End Loader Waste Management Facility Are you an experienced labourer / operator looking for hands-on outdoor work with a supportive team? Join the local council Waste Management Facility in this rewarding position, with potential for a permanent role in the future. Whats on offer: - Immediate start - Part time - 3 days / week | Monday | Tuesday | Friday - 7:45 am to 4pm including a weekend - Great team culture and positive work environment - Future opportunity to apply for a permanent role In this role, you will: - Operate and maintain plant/equipment - Front End Loader + forklift ( candidate with excavators, drott or landfill compactor will be highly regard) - Assist with site operations including resource recovery, stockpile management, and litter control - Maintain a clean, safe work environment and support WHS practices - Direct customers and support safe waste disposal operations Youll need: - Relevant plant licences | Front End Loader / Forklift (Excavator/Drott - bonus) - White Card (General Construction Induction) - Experience in landfill/earthmoving operations - highly regarded - Strong teamwork, communication, and safety mindset - Pre-employment checks: Reference Checks and Criminal Record check Desirable: - MR Licence - Environmental management awareness - Customer service skills Bring your skills, attitude, and work ethic to a team that values safety, responsibility, and community service.
