This is your opportunity to join a purpose led organisation that truly makes a difference to Australians.****About the role**SACA is looking for an experienced Venue Operations and Facilities Manager who will be responsible for the safe, efficient and high-quality operation, maintenance and presentation of Karen Rolton Pavilion (and immediate surrounds), SACAs offsite Thebarton Warehouse and the Adelaide Oval Favell Dansie Indoor Centre. This role ensures venues are fit for purpose for elite, premier community cricket as well as other sporting and external hire use, while delivering excellent experiences for players, staff and patrons aligned with the SACAs strategic goals.**Key responsibilities:*** Lead day-to-day operations at Karen Rolton Pavilion and the offsite Thebarton Warehouse to ensure safe, compliant and efficient facility use* Develop and maintain operations documentation (manuals/procedures) and ensure all accreditation, licensing and governing body standards are met* Coordinate operational readiness and venue management for cricket fixtures and other hires, including liaison with the City of Adelaide on lease/licensing requirements* Manage building operations for Karen Rolton Oval pavilion and Thebarton Warehouse (access control, CCTV, scoreboards, PA, light towers)* Oversee asset management, lifecycle and renewal planning, capex planning and coordination of minor works* Ensure compliance with statutory/safety/environmental requirements and manage utilities and essential services (waste. cleaning, security)* Provide proactive venue operations leadership, communicating clearly with internal teams and external vendors/suppliers* Provide Venue Management for Domestic and International Cricket Fixtures and attend event, security and medical briefings* Recruit, train, roster and manage casual venue staff needs for after hours use of Karen Rolton Pavilion and Adelaide Oval Favell Dansie Indoor Centre* Build strong internal/external stakeholder relationships to support cricket fixtures and venue users* Lead continuous improvement in venue presentation and customer experience* Manage operational and facilities budgets, tracking spend and identifying cost-saving opportunities* Procure and oversee supplier/service venue and facility contracts in line with Delegations and Procurement Policy* Champion WH&S culture and ensure compliance with WH&S legislation and contribute to SACA WH&S Committee**Would also be great if you have...*** Relevant qualifications and/or at least 5 years experience in venue operations, facility management, or building operations* Demonstrated experience in venue operations and facility management* Demonstrated ability to review, develop and manage venue and facility procurement and contract documentation* Clear confident communicator with a proactive mindset* Strong understanding of WH&S, risk management and regulatory compliance* Highly developed planning, organisational and stakeholder management skills* Customer experience focused and solutions-oriented* Calm under pressure with sound judgement* Proven track record in developing and maintaining collaborative, constructive and credible relationships with a wide cross-section of stakeholders (internal and external)* Experience in managing contractors and proactive and reactive maintenance programs* Experience in managing venue vendors, suppliers and contracts and contractor performance* You will also hold a valid Drivers Licence with travel required between work sites as well as a working with Children Check or have the ability to obtain one**About SACA**The SACA is one of the nations premier sporting bodies, with a vision for cricket to be Australias favorite sport a sport for all Australians.
