About The Role The Risk Assessor assists with ensuring the Governments and Department of Finances (Finance) financial risk is effectively managed. The role undertakes financial risk assessments associated with the Finances contracting with the private sector. About You The ideal candidate will have the capability to: Undertake financial analysis and risk assessments, preferably in a building and construction environment, including analysis of company financial information (e.g., financial statements and related reports). Demonstrate strong attention to detail and proactively seek clarification to interpret trends in a companys financial position and performance. Prepare detailed financial risk reports for project managers and senior management. Liaise and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Manage competing priorities and meet deadlines within agreed timeframes The position operates in Personal Leadership context. This means that you are required to demonstrate personal accountability for delivering excellence and support your team and agency in delivering strategic goals. You will be expected to build and nurture relationships and be willing to seek feedback and learn. Position Details Currently there is one (1) full-time fixed-term appointment for twelve (12) months available for immediate filling, with the possibility of further extension or permanency. Whilst this selection process will initially be used to appoint to this advertised vacancy, it may also be used to appoint to similar positions that may arise in the Agency within the next eighteen (18) months on a fulltime or parttime, fixedterm basis with the possibility of further extension(s).
