Aboriginal Family Legal Services (WA) (AFLS) provides free, culturally secure legal services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people affected by family violence and sexual assault. We are seeking an Unrestricted Solicitor to join our Geraldton office on Yamatji Country. Do meaningful legal work. Stay connected to community. About the role Working alongside the Managing Solicitor and a dedicated local team, you will have a high degree of autonomy and responsibility. You will deliver legal services and advocacy to Aboriginal clients across the Midwest, including: Family law matters Care and protection matters Family Violence Restraining Orders (FVROs) Criminal Injuries Compensation (CIC) Court representation, legal advice and community legal education You will also contribute to the ongoing development of AFLS services in the region and build strong relationships with local stakeholders and community organisations.
