Position Profile We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and suitably qualified individual to appoint to a Nurse Educator position. In this role, the successful applicant will be responsible for the development, facilitation, implementation, and evaluation of education, professional development programs, resources, and strategies for nursing and related services. Areas of accountability will include leadership, development, implementation, and review of quality and safety initiatives, the setting of clinical standards, policy development, and change management. The successful applicant will work in collaboration with colleagues and the Nurse Coordinator, and practice within their scope of practice considerate of the Nursing and Midwifery Board''s Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart. Area Profile The East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) comprises an extensive hospital and health service network that aims to maintain and improve the health and wellbeing of more than 670,000 Western Australians in its catchment area. Responsibilities The Nurse Educator will develop, facilitate, implement, and evaluate education and professional development initiatives for nursing staff. The role includes leading and reviewing quality and safety initiatives, setting clinical standards, developing policies, and managing change.
