Our client is seeking a qualified Electrician to join their mining operation on a FIFO 8 days on / 6 days off roster to Olympic Dam, commencing on an initial 6-month contract with ongoing work available. This opportunity is well suited to electricians looking to gain mining experience, with full upskilling provided for mine-site electrical work. Whats on offer: - Initial 6-month contract with ongoing work - 8/6 FIFO roster - 12-hour shifts - Accommodation in camp facilities - Market rates (no additional allowances) - Work across surface and underground operations Scope of work: - General electrical maintenance and installation - Surface and underground electrical works - Standard electrical duties only (no specialist electrical work required) - On-the-job training and upskilling in mine-site electrical systems Requirements: - Current Electrical certification - National Police Check - Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen - Strong safety focus and willingness to learn - MUST be in Australia with valid working rights/ eligibility to work If youre a qualified electrician seeking a FIFO role with longer-term potential, wed like to hear from you.
