About Us ADF Health Services provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia. As part of this contract, Serco, in partnership with Bupa, provides defenceready clinical and support staff across more than 50 onbase locations nationally, ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality onsite medical care. To learn more please visit www.serco.com/ahsc. About the Role As a Registered Nurse you will be responsible for providing quality clinical care to patients. You will develop and maintain patient care plans, liaise with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide coordinated patient management, and provide assessment of patients and coordinate outpatient and inpatient treatments. To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour. Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Minimum of 12 months postgraduate experience within the last 5 years in an acute care, primary health care, or military setting (or parttime equivalent). Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification. Location: ACT Health Centre ACT houses Department of Defence Headquarters, Airforce Headquarters and Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA). The ACT Health Centre, opened mid2021, is a large facility that services approximately 7,000 military personnel, including trainee officers from both ADFA and Royal Military College. It has a 24bed lowdependency ward operating 24/7. Services provided include primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, nursing, dental, mental health, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy. Standard hours of operation are generally 07:0016:30 Monday to Friday (with weekend and oncall shifts for specific craft groups).
