Role Overview Lesmurdie Senior High School is seeking a dedicated Teacher Library Services for a 12month fixedterm, fulltime position commencing Term1,2027, with the possibility of extension. Responsibilities Manage the school library operations, including circulation, acquisitions, and the integration of library management systems. Collaborate with teachers, school library staff, and City of Kalamunda library personnel to promote reading, research skills, and digital literacy. Cultivate a safe and accountable learning environment that reflects the schools core values of Curiosity, Aspiration, Respect and Environment. Support the promotion of the schools vision and strategic directions by providing quality educational experiences through the library. Create and lead initiatives that enhance the academic, sporting and cultural engagement of students. Qualifications Exceptional organisational and communication skills. Computer literacy and experience using library management systems. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and external library partners. Desired: A qualification in teacher librarianship or the undertaking of such a qualification.
