Internship Overview We are looking for a sharp and curious Data Analytics Intern to join our growth engine. This is a hands-on role for someone who doesnt just want to watch from the sidelines. Over the course of the internship, you will own a core analytical project that directly impacts our business strategy, transforming raw data into actionable insights. This is a internship position, requireing at least 3 days per week on-site, offering flexibility around your academic commitments. You will be tasked with a primary project, focused on answering a key business question. Potential projects include: Task: Analyze our sales pipeline data to identify the most profitable customer segments and the biggest bottlenecks in our conversion funnel. You Will Learn: How to clean real-world data, perform cohort analysis, calculate key metrics like conversion rates, and visualize findings to drive sales strategy. Project: Market & Partner Research Task: Research and analyze the Australian market to build a profile of high-potential partners (e.g., in the POS or accounting software space), supporting our partnerships team. You Will Learn: Market research techniques, competitive analysis, and how to present data-backed recommendations for business development. In this role, you will Assist in building and maintaining automated dashboards for daily performance tracking. Shadow the sales and partnerships teams to understand the real-world context behind the data. Present your project findings and recommendations to the leadership team. Who You Are A penultimate or final-year student in a quantitative, business, or related field. Problem-solver at heart you enjoy digging into a mystery and finding patterns. Proactive and eager to learn youre not afraid to ask questions, propose ideas, and take ownership of your work. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy. Possess strong communication skills, able to explain your analysis in a clear and simple manner. Requirements Available to work 3 days per week in our Sydney office. Strong analytical and logical thinking skills. Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, charts, functions like VLOOKUP) is essential. Familiarity with any of the following is a significant plus: SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
