About The Job Join a highperforming health insurance organisation and lead a team that makes a real difference to members every day. We are seeking an experienced Claims Team Leader to oversee the daytoday operations of our Inpatient Claims team (Hospital/Medical Claims) and drive excellence in service, performance, and process improvement. Key responsibilities Lead, coach and develop a team of 5 claims assessors Build engagement and foster a positive, highperformance culture Ensure clear communication, effective onboarding, and ongoing capability development Manage daily workflow across our applications - e5, HAMBS, ECLIPSE, provider lines and Medicare Act as an escalation point for complex claims, queries and complaints Monitor quality, accuracy and customer experience across all interactions Identify process, system and procedural improvements Support UAT for HAMBS and e5 releases Drive results by aligning team performance with KPIs and strategic goals Skill and experience required Minimum 5 years experience in health claims processing Proven success leading a claims processing team Strong knowledge of the HAMBS system A coaching mindset, strong communication skills and a passion for customercentric service Equal Opportunity Employer Avant supports doctors so they can serve Australia''s diverse communities.
