This is an exciting opportunity to join GEC on the Santos Cooper Midstream Simplification (CMS) project one of Australias most significant energy infrastructure programs currently under delivery. This is a singleproject contract expected to run through to late October 2026. For the right people, further opportunities exist within the Global Groups growing project portfolio beyond this contract. Responsibilities Operate Franna cranes and telehandlers to a high standard, including use of specialist attachments Support pipeline installation, facility construction and maintenance tasks as directed by the Project Supervisor Perform daily preoperational checks and routine plant maintenance; record findings in Plant Inspection Books Hand over machines to the next operator clean and in accordance with GEC procedures Participate in daily prestart meetings, task safety analysis and SWMS reviews Report all damage, near misses and incidents to the Supervisor immediately Mandatory Requirements Construction Induction (White Card) Current Driver''s Licence Franna Operations ticket Gas Test Atmospheres Heavy Vehicle Driver''s Licence Telehandler Operations ticket Desirable Requirements Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Provide First Aid Minimum 3 years'' machine operation experience O&G or civil construction experience Benefits Be part of a rapidly growing Group delivering critical energy projects across Australia Strong hourly rates FIFO 2:2 / 3:2 roster from Brisbane or Adelaide Opportunity to work on highprofile Santos infrastructure projects Contract through to late October 2026 with further Global Group opportunities postproject for the right people Ongoing training and upskilling opportunities Supportive team environment with a strong safety culture Additional Information As part of the recruitment process, suitable applicants will be required to complete a preemployment medical including drug and alcohol screening. #J-18808-Ljbffr
