We are seeking passionate and dedicated allied health professionals with experience in complex case management, assessment and trauma informed therapies. Note, some knowledge and experience working in mental health services and out of home care would be ideal. The Allied Health Professional will be part of the out of home care (OOHC) Program and will have a passion for providing a personcentred approach, trauma informed therapy, and working within a multidisciplinary team environment, providing high level clinical care to children and young people who live in out of home care. The Role: Be part of a dynamic and wellsupported team committed to delivering highquality, multisystemic, mental health services to children and young people in out of home care (OOHC). Under the supervision of the senior allied health staff, engage and work with children and young people and their significant others to provide a responsive communitybased mental health service. Collaborate with care teams that may include Child Safety Services, NGOs, Schools, psychiatrists, GPs and other Agencies to optimise service effectiveness, efficiency, and continuity of care. Work with an amazing and diverse group of clinicians as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team. Participate in supervision, peer support and ongoing professional learning opportunities. You will need: Contemporary knowledge and experience of child and youth mental health service care principles including statutory requirements, assessment, risk assessment, safety planning and the ability to implement this in the practice setting. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the theoretical and practical application of a range of therapeutic interventions relevant to Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS), with the ability to acquire further expertise into the future. Possession of a sound level of interpersonal skills with the ability to consult, liaise, negotiate, provide training and work cooperatively within the framework of a multidisciplinary team, and the broader service system. Details of appointment: Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. *notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Salary: $73,834 to $ 111,364 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022. Salary Packaging: Youll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible. Benefits available to eligible candidates: Travel and relocation assistance support available up to $15,000 for eligible appointees from overseas, and up to $10,000 for appointees from interstate. Satisfactory completion of an appropriate allied health professional course of study at a recognised tertiary institution and registered with the relevant Board or, in the case of unregulated professions, eligible for membership of the relevant professional association.
