The AWS Brick and Network Deployment (BaND) team is searching for a passionate and talented technical program manager to lead prototype engagements, from discovery through the deployment of a commercially ready process used for new technology deployments within AWS data centers in APAC. Key job responsibilities Write effective project charters based on business requirements for medium to large scale projects. Work with stakeholders (networking engineers/tech program managers/senior management, design engineers, operational deployment teams) to define requirements and processes. Manage the dependencies and the interfaces between projects and negotiate tradeoffs if needed. Provide program progress reporting on a regular basis. End to end responsibility for the programs execution and success. Manage multiple competing projects/programs simultaneously. Develop and implement scalable, datadriven process improvement/automated solutions. Keep the customer experience as the primary focus. Meet/exceed Amazons leadership principles requirements for this role. Basic Qualifications 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience. Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (i.e., network, data center, hardware, software). Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds. Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.). Writes clear and detailed functional specifications. Preferred Qualifications Experience in written and oral communication, including the ability to communicate with all levels in the organization (technical, business, executive). Advanced Excel knowledge (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL. Experience in a fastpaced, hightech company, or experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and reacting with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround.
