Department: Community Industry & CapacityLocation: Muswellbrook, NSW, AU, 2333Req ID: 82127Administrative Assistant, Clerk Grade 1/2, Muswellbrook Community Corrections, Corrective Services NSW Overview Location: Muswellbrook Community Corrections Position Type: Ongoing Full-Time role Salary: Clerk Grade 1/2 - $75,728 pa - $82,329 pa plus employers contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading What youll do The role performs administrative and reception services to internal and external clients to support the delivery of quality services for the organisation. It also undertakes a range of administrative support services relating to the business, including non-complex client matters, word processing, data entry, preparing correspondence, taking minutes, maintaining electronic and file records and support with meetings and events. This role requires the applicant to provide a service to our community and the staff and clients of our agency. What were looking for Applicants should have previous administration experience and be able to demonstrate a high level of computer skills including Microsoft Office suite as well as competency in applications such as record management systems. The ability to learn and grow in the role will be important in terms of understanding the role. We are seeking someone who demonstrates strong emotional intelligence, including the ability to follow direction, receive feedback constructively, and work effectively with a diverse range of people. This includes maintaining professionalism when interacting with individuals who may present with challenging behaviours, and responding with composure, respect, and sound judgment. About Corrective Services NSW Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) delivers professional correctional services and programs to reduce reoffending and create safer communities. We house remand and sentenced inmates in correctional centres and supervise offenders serving orders in the community. CSNSW provides reports and advice to courts and releasing/parole authorities and assesses offenders in the community and in custody for relevant interventions to reduce their risks of reoffending. CSNSW works in partnership with other government and non-government justice and human services agencies to support victims, facilitate restorative justice and promote reintegration.
