The Educational Assessments Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of academic testing programs across schools. This position is responsible for coordinating schedules, managing logistics, and overseeing staffing to deliver a high-quality assessment experience. You will work closely with schools and casual invigilators to ensure all testing sessions are executed seamlessly. The role also involves overseeing staff performance, addressing any issues, and contributing to the development of project documentation and operational processes. Duties & Responsibilities Organise and manage all paper based testing scheduled in the AAS Calendar across various states, ensuring that all logistics, materials, staffing, and resources are prepared in advance for each testing event. Efficiently schedule schools and allocate appropriate numbers of casual invigilators to ensure effective test administration. Oversee casual staff performance, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure consistent service delivery. Monitor and adjust invigilator rosters to align with operational needs, ensuring appropriate coverage. Provide exceptional client service, aiding school staff and other stakeholders in a professional and timely manner. Address performance issues and implement corrective actions to maintain high standards of service. Liaise with key stakeholders to develop and refine project documentation and operational processes. Utilise a variety of software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and other administrative tools, to support organisational needs. Manage shared databases, ensuring accurate data entry, timely updates, and data integrity. Respond to telephone and email enquiries related to data and testing schedules from schools. Experience, Skills & Qualifications Relevant qualifications and/or a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Advanced skills and experience of Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel. Outstanding administration and customer service skills High level of verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated attention to detail. Ability to work as part of a team or independently and accept a high level of responsibility. Ability to deal with complex situations and demonstrate strong critical thinking skills. Proficiency in utilising data to assess process effectiveness and make informed decisions.
