About the role The City of Sydney, one of Australias premier Councils, has several exciting opportunities available in the City Rangers team. The City Rangers team is seeking matureminded, customerfocused, and selfmotivated individuals to promote fair and equitable parking across the City of Sydney. This includes patrolling roads, parks, and other public spaces where our community comes together. As a City Ranger you will be responsible for providing a highquality customer service. Daytoday you will be responsible for: patrolling allocated sectors and beats; issuing penalty notices for breaches of the parking legislation and other legislation under which they are authorised to act; assisting members of the public with their daytoday enquiries as a representative of the City of Sydney; performing all duties efficiently and effectively to achieve the City Ranger unit goals and objectives. To be successful, you will hold a current NSW recognised Drivers Licence. You will also have customer service experience. Experience or knowledge of onstreet parking or Local Government regulatory activities would be an advantage. This role has the option of an 18day month.
