Weekly Hours: 35Salary: $86,504.60 - $94,290.04 (plus superannuation) About Central West Libraries Central West Libraries is a regional library service located across the Central Tablelands and Western Slopes of NSW. Established in 1958 the Library service encompasses the Local Government areas of Blayney, Cabonne, Cowra, Forbes, Weddin and Orange. The support and administrative units are located in Orange. The Library service covers an area of 18,772 square km and serves a population of 91,857. About Cowra Library Cowra Library holds over 17,000 items and has 5,399 members. It is open five and a half days a week and offers library programs to engage with children and adults. About the role Reporting to the Manager Central West Libraries, this position is responsible for the development and delivery of library services at the Cowra library. This includes: Providing high quality, customer focussed readers services including circulation duties, reference enquiries and participation in the delivery of programs and events Participating in collection management processes Managing and developing staff through implementation of recruitment, performance management, conducting performance reviews and promoting learning and developmentInteracting with the wider community including member councils to maximise the potential reach of library services A full list of job responsibilities can be found in the position description.
