About the Role Were seeking dedicated Female Disability Support Workers to join our supportive team in Ryde. In this role, youll assist a group of clients with intellectual disabilities who live together in a shared home. They enjoy engaging in creative and sensory activities, cooking, spending time with loved ones and getting out into the community. Youll be a key part of helping them achieve greater independence and joy in their daily lives. Key Responsibilities Deliver active support aligned with each clients goals and support plans Assist with daily personal care tasks (e.g., toileting, showering, dressing) Use safe manual handling techniques in accordance with individual plans Facilitate community access and transport using Unisson vehicles or public transport Build trusted relationships with clients, families and external stakeholders Maintain accurate documentation, reports and records Work collaboratively within a close-knit team Respond appropriately to incidents in line with Unisson and NDIS guidelines Qualifications Willing to work active night and sleepover shifts, weekends, and public holidays Hold a valid NSW Drivers Licence (P2/full) and are confident driving Unisson vehicles Energetic, compassionate, and emotionally resilient Experience in disability support (preferred) Experience working with challenging behaviours and behavioural plans Qualified with Cert III/IV in Disability (desirable) First Aid Certificate NDIS Worker Screening Check Working With Children Check (if required for the role) Benefits Generous salary packaging to boost your take-home pay 17.5% annual leave loading Wellbeing leave + option to cash out annual leave Employee Assistance Program for you and your family Flexible work options and individualised training Free flu vaccinations, WHEREFIT membership and milestone celebrations Roster Week 1 27 Hours Thursday 8:30:00 AM to 9:30:00 AM 1 Hour Thursday 9:30:00 AM to 2:30:00 PM 5 Hours Friday 6:00:00 AM to 10:00:00 AM 4 Hours Saturday No Shift Sunday No Shift Week 2 21 Hours Thursday No Shift Friday 6:00:00 AM to 10:00:00 AM 4 Hours Saturday No Shift Sunday No Shift Unisson is proud to be a smoke-free, equal opportunity employer.
