Teacher of Building Strathfield Campus Permanent Part-time (4 days/week) $111,798 $132,585 salary package (includes base salary of $98,499 $116,813, employer superannuation contribution and annual leave loading). About the role We are seeking worldclass educators to inspire the next generation of Building and Construction students. The role is based onsite at the Strathfield Campus, where you will deliver engaging classes digitally to remote learners and occasionally attend the Granville Campus to undertake site surveying activities. Responsibilities Guide and enrich the learning journey of adult learners, delivering industryrelevant training and assessments. Develop and maintain Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge, industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence. Assist with site surveying activities on the Granville Campus as required. Qualifications Appropriate subject knowledge, skills and vocational qualifications with a minimum level of Certificate IV in Building Construction or equivalent. Current NSW Contractors Licence (Building). No more than five years of postqualification industry experience, including at least three years. Evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver VET. Prepared to develop and maintain VET knowledge and industry currency. Additional requirements Valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) prior to commencing. Australian National Criminal Record Check as part of the preemployment process. Must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand passport.
