Role description: The Client Portfolio Manager Energy & Power Australia will serve as the liaison between the Regional Sector Executive APAC and Tier 3 Account Managers, providing consistent guidance to implement Sector strategy as it relates to Tier 3 clients. This role will note which clients will receive targeted investment to grow into higher tiers and which will be serviced and not retained as a client, in line with the Sector Strategy in Australia. Codevelop the Tier 3 client strategy with the Sector Portfolio Leader or Regional Sector Executive APAC and translate this to an annual business plan in line with the greater Portfolio/Sector strategy. Work with Tier 3 Account Managers to create account strategies and growth plans for strategic growth clients, including identifying accounts to invest in per the Portfolio/Sector strategy for Australia. Create partnerships with Tier 3 Account Managers to liaise Sector messaging and alignment to Sector strategy. Support Tier 3 Account Managers to drive identified Tier 3 clients into higher tiers where there is the greatest opportunity for growth and diversification. Work with Tier 3 Account Managers to cut the tail of clients that do not meet Sector growth ambitions as per the Portfolio strategy. Support Tier 3 Account Managers in identifying opportunities to diversify client accounts and identify new revenue streams. Support Account Managers to manage their pipeline accurately and in a timely fashion. Ensure Client/Portfolio financial performance is aligned to targets. Pursue new commercial models with Clients in Australia. Support Account Leaders to achieve Client/Portfolio financial targets (NOI, NR, cash and margin) and align them to Sector targets, pursue new commercial models with Clients as appropriate, and manage their pipeline in an accurate and timely fashion. Actively mentor and guide Tier 3 Account Managers in client relationship building. Qualifications & Experience: Extensive leadership experience in the Sector in Australia, with clear accountability for sales growth, client portfolio performance and pricing strategy across strategic client portfolios. Strong financial acumen for pricing, margin optimization and risk management, including experience shaping commercial models that balance competitiveness and profitability. Advanced client insights and market awareness, with the ability to interpret client priorities, sector trends and competitive dynamics to develop compelling client strategies and investment plans. Proven success in strategic leadership across complex, nonhierarchical, global organizations, able to set direction, communicate a compelling Industry vision and align teams across geographies to deliver Client outcomes. Excellent communication and negotiation skills for highlevel client engagement, with the ability to represent Arcadis credibly with senior client and partner stakeholders. Exceptional relationship building and mentorship skills, combining sector expertise with strong client engagement and stakeholder management, inspiring high performing teams and fostering collaboration to deliver outstanding client experiences. Leadership style that empowers Arcadians, promotes accountability and continuous improvement, and supports a healthy, inclusive and high engagement culture aligned to the Arcadis Leadership profile of being curious, driving success and igniting passion. Degree level education in a relevant technical or commercial discipline, such as accounting, finance, sales, or equivalent practical experience.
