About The Role We are seeking a Physiotherapist with experience in neurological rehabilitation to join our inpatient team on a maternity leave contract. The role involves delivering highquality, goaldirected rehabilitation to adults following traumatic brain injury and supporting their recovery and independence. Key Responsibilities Provision of high quality, evidencebased physiotherapy interventions following comprehensive assessment. Participation in case conferences, goal setting and family meetings. Supervision of physiotherapy assistants and students. Contribute to the ongoing development of BIRS and Physiotherapy Service by actively participating in meetings and working parties. Participation in the Sydney Physiotherapy Brain Injury Meetings as required. About You We seek a selfmotivated and friendly individual who meets the following essential criteria. Essential Criteria Registration with AHPRA. Experience in neurological physiotherapy, working in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, including aquatic physiotherapy. Experience working with compensable clients and/or knowledge of systems involved. Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills. Demonstration of effective multidisciplinary teamwork. Demonstrated evidence of relevant professional development and commitment to evidencebased practice. Demonstrated excellent timemanagement and selforganisation skills. Experience and/or sound knowledge of quality and research activities. Desirable Criteria Experience working with adults with traumatic brain injury in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Experience in supervising physiotherapy students.
