Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Banquets Supervisor at InterContinental Sydney, located in Sydney, NSW. The Banquets Supervisor will oversee the coordination and execution of banquet events, ensuring each function meets high standards of quality and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include supervising and guiding a team of banquet staff, managing event setups and service execution, liaising with clients and event organizers for seamless operations, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hospitality standards. Qualifications Proven supervisory skills, including leading teams and managing schedules Experience in food service, including managing banquet setups and dining events Strong customer service and customer satisfaction abilities, with a focus on creating exceptional guest experiences Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff, clients, and guests High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry Relevant hospitality qualifications or experience in a luxury hotel environment is advantageous Flexibility to work variable hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr
