Overview Location: Sydney, New South Wales Employment: Full-time / Term Contract up to 13 August 2027 Salary: $149,833 per annum plus superannuation About The Role The City of Sydney is seeking a proactive and analytical Financial Planning and Reporting Analyst to help shape the future of our global city. In this pivotal role, youll deliver strategic financial insights, support high-impact decisions, enhance performance across Council divisions and serve as a key contact for your allocated division, building strong relationships and providing expert advice. Youll work closely with senior managers and business units, using tools like Jedox and Power BI to develop and maintain financial models and dashboards. As a trusted advisor, youll lead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensure compliance with policies and reporting standards, and drive continuous improvement in financial planning and reporting. Were Looking For Someone With CPA / CA or similar tertiary qualifications Experience in financial modelling and development of complex financial models, preferably in an OLAP setting Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Download position description.
