Do you enjoy building partnerships, running engaging programs, and bringing people together across regional and rural NSW? The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) is seeking a highly organised and energetic Agricultural Youth Initiatives Event Manager to join our team and help strengthen youth engagement across the agricultural community. Most well-known for the Sydney Royal Easter Show, the RAS also delivers yearround initiatives that support agricultural education, competitions and community outcomes across NSW. In this role, you will help grow the RAS presence in agricultural youth communities by developing and delivering a strong program of initiatives and events, both online and facetoface. Youll work closely with internal teams and key external partners to coordinate regional engagement activities, support committeeled programs and competitions, and help tell a united, impactful story of the RAS support of regional communities. About you Along with experience in event/program coordination, youll bring strong relationshipbuilding skills and a genuine interest in working with young people in agriculture, particularly across regional and rural communities. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or 2-3 years experience in administration and/or project coordination at a similar level. Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels. Proven ability to work autonomously while also contributing effectively in a team environment. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Experience coordinating events (highly regarded), including scheduling, logistics and supplier/contractor coordination. Confidence using Microsoft Office and comfort working across websites/social platforms (desirable). A positive, proactive approach and willingness to work flexibly (including some evenings/weekends) when required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
