General Labourer & Forklift Operator Roles Industrial Paper Mill Tumut Were expanding our workforce at an Industrial Tumut Paper Mill and are looking for reliable, hardworking people to join our onsite labouring and forklift teams. About the Roles We have multiple positions available for General Labourers and Forklift Operators working across production, housekeeping, industrial cleaning and materials handling. These roles suit people who enjoy handson work, can follow safety procedures, and are comfortable working in a fastpaced industrial environment. General Labourer Duties - Manual handling, sweeping, shovelling, and general housekeeping - Assisting production teams with daily tasks - Cleaning machinery, equipment, and work areas - Supporting shutdowns and maintenance activities - Following all site safety procedures and instructions - High pressure washing & industrial hosing Forklift Operator Duties - Operating forklifts to move materials, product, and equipment - Loading and unloading trucks - Production operations - Supporting production with stock movement - Maintaining a clean and safe work area - Completing basic paperwork and inventory tasks - Use of different sized & attachment Forklifts What Were Looking For - Reliable, punctual, and safetyfocused workers - Comfortable with physical labour and industrial environments - Able to work well in a team and follow instructions - Forklift licence (required for forklift roles; desirable for labouring roles) - Previous labouring or manufacturing experience is an advantage but not essential - Must hold valid Australian work rights What We Offer - Ongoing, stable work with a respected international client - Supportive onsite supervisors and a strong team culture - Weekly pay and penalty rates where applicable - Overtime & Weekend work available - Opportunities to upskill, gain tickets, and grow within the company - PPE provided and replaced as needed Shifts & Availability - Monday to Friday shifts (7am 3pm) - Periodic 12 hour shifts available - Occasional weekend or overtime opportunities - Day, afternoon, and night shifts may be available depending on site requirements Additional Information Applicants who do not have any tickets or licences, if successfully hired will be given opportunities to gain tickets such as Forklift High Risk licence, Skid steer certification, Working at Heights, Manual Handling, CPR, Firehose training and Confined Space ticket.
