About the RoleAs a Strategic Account Manager, youll manage and grow a portfolio of Key & Strategic Accounts across our Hydrogen & Renewable Energy portfolio, maximising participation and spend through tailored value propositions and a consultative, value-based sales approach.This role is an elevated strategic account position (not a "generic AM") , requiring the ability to identify, qualify and win new "bellwether" customers ("new bell" strategy) whose participation amplifies the broader ecosystem.The portfolio is conferenceled, so youll confidently position a range of commercial solutions including conference/speaking and broader event opportunities. The role is Sydneybased and sells into an Asia Pacific market (Australia plus wider APAC). Reporting to our Group Sales Manager, this is a permanent fulltime opportunity to be based in St. Leonards, Sydney with hybrid working available.ResponsibilitiesKey & Strategic Account Management manage, develop, retain and grow assigned accounts; build and run account plans aligned to customer needs and buying cycles.New Bell Business Strategy identify, qualify and secure new bellwether customers for each show in the portfolio.Consultative / Valuebased Selling lead strategic conversations with senior decisionmakers and sell appropriate solutions aligned to objectives.Market & Industry Insight use hydrogen/renewables ecosystem knowledge (including supply chain) to uncover and convert opportunities.Pipeline, Forecasting & CRM Discipline maintain accurate SFDC activity/opportunity updates and reporting.Systems & Tools participate in tools such as GBS Sales, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other sales systems used by the business.RequirementsHydrogen industry knowledge/experience strongly preferred; broader renewable energy or adjacent supplychain industries considered.Track record in B2B sales/account management, including retention + new business development.Highly consultative style and strong valuebased selling capability.Ability to build a strategy where landing a key client has an "amplification effect" (new bell / bellwether thinking).Strong presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills (comfortable with Csuite/business owners).Structured, autonomous and selfmotivated approach in a market that requires proactive hunting (not "handed leads").WorkLife Balance & BenefitsWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
