You''ll:Work directly with client teams (technical and business stakeholders)Train and mentor their internal data teamsOwn the success of the solutions we build togetherUse modern approaches: medallion architecture, dbt, CI/CD, infrastructure as codeLeverage AI coding tools to deliver faster and betterWhat You Need to BringThe foundations (non-negotiable):2-3 years of data engineering experience at a structured organisation (ideally 500+ employees with established data teams)Strong SQL skills - joins, CTEs, window functions, query optimisationDimensional modeling fundamentals - you understand star schemas, slowly changing dimensions, and why these patterns matterCloud data warehouse experience - Snowflake preferred, but other strong Cloud Data Warehouse experience works tooExposure to dbt - we''ll teach you our patterns, but you need the basicsGit fundamentals - branching, pull requests, CI/CD conceptsThe humility to say "I don''t know" and the intelligence to learn quickly when shownSnowflake certification or deep Snowflake knowledgeExperience with medallion architecture patternsExperience using AI coding assistants productivelyClient-facing experience or technical mentoringThe Cultural FitAre technically strong but humble about what they don''t knowCan laugh at themselves and keep perspectiveCommunicate clearly with everyone from data analysts to CIOsLearn quickly with minimal hand-holdingTake ownership and accountability seriouslyActually enjoy teaching others and seeing them growAre energised by working on complex problems for serious clientsOur Hiring ProcessCultural fit conversation - do we enjoy talking to you?
