Our current driver is leaving to start his own business, creating a great opportunity for the right person to join our small, friendly team. Containerco is a family owned and operated business looking for a long term and reliable driver to join our small friendly team. Working business days only with some overnight runs where accommodation (motel) is provided and an above award overnight allowance is paid. You will be our representative and will have regular face to face interactions with our customers, so you will need to be well presented and have pride in yours and your vehicles appearance etc. Please don''t apply unless you have - Good English ie: written and verbal skills - HR / Road ranger experience - Ability to manage your own day and communicate directly with customers - Pride in personal appearance and your vehicle - Mature attitude and ability to work in a small happy team environment - Reliable - Tilt tray experience would be highly regarded but not necessary, training will be provided About the Job itself - Monday to Friday (no weekends) - Something different on offer each day - Good mix of metro and country work - Occasional Overnight runs (motel) - We prefer one truck with one driver - You will be paid hourly plus O/T & penalties - You will be regarded as an integral part of our service and sales team We are looking for a long-term person who is a self-starter that has the ability to manage their own day, a team player working towards our common goals. Closed for three weeks every Christmas / New Year and uniforms are supplied.
