As a rapidly expanding residential builder across north-west Sydney, we are renowned for our spirited individuals and inventive designs. An entry-level opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop site supervision skills within the low-rise residential building is awaiting you. This role typically offers on-site based training and career progression opportunities. This position will suit someone who has ambitions to study, work and grow further within the construction industry while working for a progressive company which offers mentoring to staff, including exposure to software used to manage the process of construction. While doing so, you will establish close collaboration with internal departments, ensuring that homes are constructed within the allocated budget and agreed-upon timeframes. JOB DESCRIPTION: - Support the Site Supervisor with daily tasks and maintain site organization. - Prepare materials and perform simple construction tasks as instructed. - Perform general site clean-up, including removing debris and maintaining site tidiness. - Set up temporary fencing, safety barriers, and signage. - Deliver materials across the site and ensure correct storage. - Moving building materials, tools, and equipment. - Assist in keeping tools organized and in good working condition. - Operate basic hand and power tools safely. - Help with basic measurements and marking out work areas. - Carry out other manual labour tasks as directed. - Follow all WHS requirements and report hazards or incidents immediately. - Other duties and responsibilities as required by Senior Management.
