About the Role This role offers a standout opportunity for a Social Media Manager to take full ownership of endtoend social media performance, from strategy and resourcing through to program quality and measurable return on investment. The position provides strategic influence through direct management of key platform partnerships with Facebook and TikTok, enabling the delivery of incremental value across the brand portfolio. With a strong focus on ROI analysis, benchmarking and industry best practice, the role supports the ongoing development of both people and social presence, while setting and maintaining clear social media guidelines to ensure consistency and excellence. In addition, the opportunity includes oversight of an inhouse influencer program, allowing the successful candidate to shape and scale an authentic, highimpact creator strategy that drives meaningful business outcomes. This is an 11-month fixed-term contract commencing from 1 st of July 2026. Key Responsibilities - Own and lead the endtoend social media strategy across Sanitariums brands, ensuring relevance, growth, and clear return on investment - Build and develop bestinclass internal social capability across media buying, influencer management and content creation, fostering a culture of continual learning - Lead and manage the social media team, including direct and indirect reports, to deliver highquality outcomes aligned to core values - Manage and influence significant media and production budgets, with full accountability for performance and ROI - Develop and deliver TransTasman social media strategies and digital activations, measured through econometric modelling and performance reporting - Establish and maintain social media bestpractice guidelines, ensuring compliance with regulatory and brand requirements - Oversee influencer and ambassador strategies to maximise reach, engagement, and effectiveness - Drive optimisation through robust reporting, ROI analysis and ongoing performance improvements About You - Expert in Meta Ads Manager, Instagram, Tik Tok and influencer engagement. - Expert in digital media buying and benchmarking for efficiency and effectiveness. - Expert in social media strategy development and media implementation planning. - Agile leadership skills, and experience managing high performing teams. - Being passionate about digital and social is essential and with social media touching on so many parts of our business it is expected that this person will be able to work with a broad range of people from within and outside Sanitarium. - Understanding of the social media space and how it continues to evolve is essential, as well as how social media fits in within PR and marketing campaigns.
