Architectural Designer / Drafter - Eastern Suburbs based We are working with an established builder developer delivering a high volume of spec homes across Sydney, with approximately 100 homes delivered annually. About the Role With continued growth, they are looking to expand their internal design capability and bring on an additional Architectural Designer / Drafter to support their pipeline. This role sits within a small inhouse design team and is part of a planned team expansion, with a clear structure forming as the business continues to grow. The Role This is a Designer/Drafter position with a coordination focus, suited to someone who enjoys being involved in the broader design and documentation process rather than purely producing drawings. Assist in the preparation and coordination of design and construction documentation Work closely with internal architects and consultants to manage updates and changes Review drawings, apply markups, and ensure documentation consistency Coordinate inputs across consultants (structural, civil, services, etc.) Identify and resolve design issues and clashes Support the delivery of projects from design through to construction While ArchiCAD is used internally, they are open to candidates from a Revit background as they can provide ArchiCAD training. About You 5+ years experience as an Architectural Designer or Drafter Residential experience essential (project homes, spec homes, duplexes or similar) Proficient in ArchiCAD (or strong Revit experience with willingness to transition) Understanding of DA, CDC, and construction documentation processes Exposure to consultant coordination and documentation review Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects Looking to step into a more involved, design coordinationfocused role Competitive salary on offer get in touch to discuss.
