Role Summary Title: Pharmacy Assistant / Pharmacy Technician Type: 1 maxterm fulltime role until 30 September 2026; 2 casual roles until 30 September 2026. Grade: Pharmacy Assistant Grade 1 or 2, or Pharmacy Technician Grade 1 or 2. Department & location: Pharmacy, Parklea Correctional Centre. Salary: $64,364 $81,969 + super. Responsibilities Work a rotating roster, 10hour shifts, 6am5pm (maxterm fulltime). Work to backfill planned and unplanned staff leave on 6am5pm as required (casual). Assist with preparation, ordering and administering of medications. Coordinate patient release medication supplies and keep pharmacy stores wellmaintained. Perform critical monitoring tasks, such as documenting fridge temperatures. Maintain pharmacy equipment and assist with accepting medication deliveries. Assist pharmacists to witness OTP administration. Qualifications Qualification in a relevant field recognised by the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia, or Certificate III or IV issued by a Registered Training Organisation in Hospital and Community Pharmacy, or equivalent experience. Experience dispensing pharmaceuticals in a hospital or community pharmacy setting. Demonstrated knowledge of legislative requirements relating to pharmaceuticals. For maxterm role: able to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays. For casual role: ideally open to a range of shift opportunities as they present themselves.
