This is a high-impact role where youll influence product innovation, optimise manufacturing performance, and lead a talented technical team in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment.Youll play a pivotal role in shaping how we design, develop, and deliver our products - bringing together strategy, leadership, and hands-on expertise to drive continuous improvement and operational success.**Areas of Responsibility**Youll be at the heart of our technical operations, leading people, projects, and performance:* Lead and prioritise engineering activities to maximise efficiency and technical capability* Develop and mentor a high-performing technical team* Scope, design, and deliver engineering projects, including capital investment initiatives* Oversee and support the Maintenance Manager with maintenance operations to ensure reliable, high-performing plant and equipment* Partner with global and local teams to stay at the forefront of product innovation* Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Marketing, NPD, and QESH to bring new products to life* Support Account Managers with technical expertise and industry engagement* Champion safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement across all operations**Qualifications and Experience Required*** Degree-qualified in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred).* 10+ years experience in engineering and maintenance leadership roles, preferably in managing integrated teams* Strong track record managing teams and delivering complex projects* Analytical mindset with the ability to solve technical challenges and drive innovation* Experience building KPIs and metrics that deliver real business impact* Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills* Resilient, proactive, and solutions-focused approach* Experience with ISO 17025 and lean manufacturing (highly regarded)**Our Benefits*** You will be provided with competitive remuneration and an annual Bonus* At INTERFACE, we provide parking on-site.* Access to Employee Assistance program* Salary Packaging options* Fitness subsidy, gym membership discount, health insurance discount, yearly flu shots and more* You will be part of a diverse and vibrant team with an excellent culture.Help us lead industry to love the world.
