Our Home Health Registered Nurses are key members of an integrated, multi-disciplinary team, responsible for delivering evidence-based, person-centred nursing care to support customers in their own homes. This hybrid role will support you to work at your full scope of practice, providing quality care across a variety of work settings and caseloads. To provide flexibility to suit your lifestyle and career goals, we are currently offering apart-time position (3x days per week), within our nursingteam. This team support bothHome CareandHospital in The Homeprograms and work in and around the suburbs ofNorth Sydney, Ryde and Macquarie Park. The role will encompass completing in-home clinical assessments and provision of treatment in the management of acute and chronic conditions, such as: Managing medication including IV antibiotics via PICCs Complex wound care, including NPWT Surgical drain tube management Urinary catheter insertion and management Integrateflexibility into your work-life balance with our rotating shifts Enjoyextra Well-Being, Community and Deep Listeningleave days Gain access to our gym membershipFitness Passport Discounts Tap into 2Extra Weeks Annual Leave AccessEmployee Discounts across Health, Insurances, Travel & Accommodation Novated Leasing through Maxxia or Flare Cars About You Unrestricted registration as a Registered nurse with AHPRA Excellent communication and time management skills with proven ability to multi-task Demonstrated experience working in an acute, sub-acute and/or community-based environment working with a diverse customer group. Recent acute hospital experience highly regarded Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in collaboration with others to coordinate the delivery of care to customers Demonstrated current practice knowledge and minimum 12 months experience in delivering care to customers receiving IVAB via PICC lines, complex wound care including NPWT, and surgical drain tube management Working knowledge of various funding streams Current drivers license and registered, insured roadworthy vehicle Australian Unity is an Equal Opportunity employer.
