The Role:We're seeking a driven and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our team and lead our technology vision. As our CTO, you will play a pivotal role in scaling our platform, driving product development, and shaping the future of our company. You will be responsible for:Product Development: Enhancing and expanding the features of our flagship product, ensuring a seamless user experience.Technical Leadership: Driving the architectural design, development, and implementation of our technology stack.Team Building: Eventually building and leading a high-performing engineering team.Client Integrations: Overseeing and managing technical integrations with our clients.Investor & Client Relations: Participating in investor and client meetings, providing technical expertise and presentations.Security & Compliance: Ensuring SOC 2 compliance and maintaining robust security practices.Strategic Planning: Contributing to the overall strategic direction of the company.Qualifications:7+ years of proven experience in full-stack software development.Expert with PythonStrong understanding of cloud-based architectures and scalable systems.Experience with SOC 2 compliance and security best practices.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Canadian Citizenship is a must.Preferably located in Toronto or willing to relocate within the next 3 months.Insurtech experience is a plus.AI experience is a plus.Rapid iteration with Cursor/Windsurf/Lovable experience is a plus.
