Seeking a dedicated and reliable Dog Nanny and Household Manager to care for two dogs (15lbs and 35lbs) across three properties in Toronto, Muskoka, and Collingwood. Responsibilities include daily dog walking, feeding, grooming, maintaining the household, managing appointments, and ensuring the well-being of both pets and home. Requirements: Experience in pet care, ideally with dogs, and understanding of their behavioral needs. Ability to manage household tasks efficiently and maintain a clean environment. Reliable transportation for travel between locations and flexibility in schedule. Will be reimbursed for travel based on latest CRA kilometric rates. Key Responsibilities: Dog Walking and Exercise: Ensure dogs receive at least two hour-long walks daily for physical activity and socialization. Feeding and Watering Pets: Prepare meals according to dietary requirements and ensure fresh water is always available. Pet Grooming and Hygiene: Regularly groom pets, including brushing, bathing, and paw cleaning. House Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform light housekeeping duties such as dusting, vacuuming, and maintaining a tidy living space. Pet Health Monitoring: Monitor pets for signs of illness or discomfort and report any concerns to the owners promptly. Administering Medications: Administer prescribed medications or supplements to pets as directed. Pet Sitting/Overnight Care: Provide overnight care and ensure pets are comfortable in the absence of owners. Scheduling and Managing Appointments: Coordinate veterinary visits, grooming appointments, and other necessary services for pets. Maintaining House Security: Ensure home security by locking doors and windows and performing occasional checks. Communicating with Pet Owners: Keep owners informed about pets'' activities, behavior, and any issues via messages or reports. Grocery Shopping and Household Supply Management: Shop for groceries and maintain household supplies, including seasonal needs like firewood in winter. Re-organizing the House During Transitions: Assist with seasonal transitions and reorganize household areas as needed. Facilitating Drop-offs and Pick-ups for Dogs: Arrange and manage necessary appointments, day care, or grooming services for dogs. Travel to Different House Locations (As Needed): Travel between multiple properties to manage pet and household needs. Ad-Hoc Day-to-Day Tasks: Assist with various daily tasks such as errands, event organization, or minor repairs.
