Hi there, My husband and I have 3 fun loving kids (4, 7, 10 yrs) along with super affectionate Cat (soon to add a dog) We both are working full time and are looking to find a kind, responsible organized and reliable nanny with experience managing a home. We would need help with school morning drop offs and/or pick-ups 3x times per week, house cleaning, laundry, groceries, food and meal prep (while children are in school). The hours are approx Monday 3-8pm | Tuesday 8-5pm | Wednesday 3-8pm | Thursday 2-7pm and some flexible hours eg 20-25 hours a week. Main Duties Supervise and care for children when they are at home/ at the park /during outside play Plan, prepare meals / snacks for children Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings and help with homework Maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment in the home and support their emotional development Able to be assertive, set boundaries and help create discipline to help our children respect others, their environment and take responsibility for their actions / understand consequences. Home organization and house work (while children are at school) including laundry, home cleaning (mopping/vacuuming), bathrooms/kitchen cleaning etc. Job Requirements oGood Command of English oCompletion of training in child CPR and first aid (ideal) oAble to swim (ideal) oCapable cook oComfortable with medium/large dogs and dog walking / cats oCriminal record check; Reference required; o Completion of secondary school education (ideal) oPrevious experience an asset, ideally 2-5 years with multiple children We are hoping to find someone local to avoid long public transit to and from our home.
