With the continued growth in the industry, Scotlynn is currently hiring Driver Dispatch at our yard in Cornwall, ON. You will receive requests, transmit messages, track trucks and loads, and communicate with customers, drivers and the sales and operations teams.This role could also be known as driver support, fleet manager or logistics coordinator.ABOUT YOUSuccessful Scotlynn Candidates Have:Excellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and stay on taskExcellent computer skillsAbility to work as a remote team memberKnowledge of PC Miler, Electronic Driver Logs, Mcleod Transportation Management SoftwareKnowledge of transportation/logistics industryHOW YOULL SUCCEED WITH SCOTLYNNReceive and deliver requests and informationDispatch drivers for pick-up and deliveryProvide drivers with information about loads, pick-up, delivery, traffic, obstacles, and other requirementsAddress problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions. Record information in the Transportation Management SystemPrioritize calls according to urgency and importanceMonitor the routes and load tracking according to scheduled deliveryVerify with drivers their timing to meet schedule requirementsProvide updates to customers, Drivers and Fleet ManagersYOUR COMMITMENTThis is a full-time, permanent roleWork from 8 am 5 pm Monday-FridayHOW TO APPLYInterested in the role or want to learn more?
