About the RoleWe're on the lookout for a proactive, detail-oriented Account Manager to support and grow client programs in the building materials and construction trade industry. This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in everything from writing social posts and case studies to managing deliverables, budgets, and stakeholder communications. Youll work across integrated campaignsspanning media relations, digital, social, and contenthelping ensure projects stay on track and on brand.Were a hands-on, sleeves-rolled-up kind of teamand were looking for a strong leader to join us as we continue to grow business with legacy accounts and identify opportunities to secure new clients.What Youll Be DoingProject & Campaign ManagementIdentify issues before they escalate, propose solutions, and keep projects movingManage timelines, deliverables, and approvals across multiple client accountsLead the planning, execution, and tracking of integrated campaignsEnsure all moving partsfrom strategy to executionare running smoothlyManage and mentor junior team membersContent & CommunicationsWrite and edit content for social media, websites, internal briefs, and technical materialsTranslate complex ideas into clear, engaging communications for trade and consumer audiencesClient LeadershipServe as the primary point of contact for key accounts, owning day-to-day communication with clientsmanaging requests, timelines, and expectationsLead client strategy discussions and proactively identify opportunities to add valueBuild long-term client relationships based on trust, expertise, and resultsBudget SupportOwn the budget creation, tracking, and reconciliation of project budgetsHelp flag scope changes and support billing accuracyReport on campaign performance, learnings, and optimizationsIndustry & Media EngagementFoster trade media and influencer relationships relevant to client industriesSupport earned media and content campaigns targeted to B2B decision-makersYoull Excel If You Have4+ years of experience in PR, integrated marketing, or communications (preferably in an agency or B2B environment)Proven writing skills across social, web, and technical formatsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailyou know how to keep things moving while juggling multiple prioritiesConfidence working directly with clients, presenting ideas, solutions and providing feedbackA curious, grounded, and team-first mindsetyoure a doer who also thrives on collaborationInterest in building science or technical/trade industries (bonus points if you like learning how things are built!)
