Exciting news, Kelly is currently hiring for a Site Digital Specialist role with Dow Chemical - Onsite at Dow Fort Saskatchewan, AB Site!Title: Site Digital Specialist Contract role: 12 + months Location onsite: Dow Fort Saskatchewan, ABShift Schedule: 5/8s (Mon to Fri) Job Summary:You will be a part of the M&E IT organization referred to as ITOT Run & Maintain (IT for Operations). The ITOT R&M organization, which is comprised of architecture, domain and business process team members, facilitates collaboration between functions /disciplines and experts in the application of information technology (IT) within an Operations context. The basis of this collaboration is the shared objective of defining, delivering and supporting IT solutions providing optimal capability at minimal lifecycle cost. You will have conceptual knowledge of theories, techniques and methodology within the analytical technology discipline.You are responsible for effective support of digital manufacturing hardware/software that are running business specific applications at the site level. You will focus on resolution and or proper escalation of support concerns to ensure digital manufacturing hardware and applications are properly utilized within the work processes. You will rely on your technical skills to help resolve hardware/software related problems while utilizing global/local application Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and hardware SMEs to escalate issues for resolution. Job DescriptionSupport implementation and utilization of the program, digital manufacturing tools, its applications and hardware.Support of Manufacturing & Engineering (M&E) hardware like, rugged tablets, smartphones, and wearable devices along with their software components.Identify, report, and help resolve problems with the digital applications and mobile solution technology.Have knowledge of Dows enterprise support service, Service Now. Understand how to open, close and review tickets.Able to locate knowledge based articles for troubleshooting and escalation of applications and hardware within Service Now.Knowledge of triaging support tasks to appropriate group (Application SME, Networking, Security etc.)Provide support to end users for applications and mobile solution technology.Works with business and site Manage Production Work Process Leaders and other Functional Leaders and I/T Tool Subject Matter Experts (SME's) to implement and maintain applications and hardware.Works with Business and Global I/T Tool SMEs to support and enhance the applications and mobile solution technologyParticipate in site or business networks as applicable.Support workarounds and temporary fixes for known problemsWorks closely with plant/functions to collect feedback on digital solutionsSuggests and provides value case for enhancements to better support the associated work processes and improve user productivityParticipate in piloting of applications and hardware.Actively monitors user adoption and identifies gaps for resolution.Communicates with site leadership on overall digital strategy status and path forward for continuous improvement and value creationKelly BenefitsHealthcare fully covered, starting after 3 months of service and 100% paid by Kelly11 paid statutory holidaysVacation pay planIf you meet the qualifications and are ready to take on this exciting role, we would love to hear from you.
