Overview:Our financial client is seeking a highly driven Senior Project Manager with strong project management rigor and leadership capabilities. This individual will lead Technology Infrastructure projects from inception to execution, ensuring high standards in planning, delivery, and stakeholder engagement. This is not a passive PM rolethe successful candidate must be fully invested in driving project outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end project deliveryfrom ideation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.Collaborate closely with stakeholders, internal teams, and other PMs to ensure visibility, alignment, and execution.Apply formal project management methodologies (Waterfall) to ensure disciplined delivery: manage scope, timelines, risks, issues, budgets, and documentation.Maintain essential project artifacts such as status reports, risk logs, issue logs, and financial records.Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate progress and risks clearly to senior leadership.Work across various streams including network implementation, digital workspace, meeting room technology, and end-user computing (monitors, laptops, printers).Keep focus on achieving business outcomes, not just delivering technology.Leverage ITIL principles and project governance frameworks to support execution maturity.Must-Have Qualifications:10+ years Project Management experience. Banking or Financial industry experienceProven experience delivering end-to-end Technolo.gy Infrastructure projects with full ownership and accountability.Strong project leadership with the ability to take initiative and drive results in a fast-paced environment.Deep understanding of project management best practices (e.g., PMBOK, ITIL); practical application is more important than certification.Skilled in risk management, artifact management, and producing detailed status reports and project documentation.Strong financial management skills including budgeting and forecasting.Demonstrated leadership maturity.Experience working in environments with multiple PMs and coordinators.and end-user technology.Soft Skills Must Have:Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Strategic, outcome-driven mindset with a high degree of ownership.Strong leadershiptakes full initiative, actively drives the project forward, and does not take a passive or reactive role.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable under pressure.Nice-to-Have:PMP Certification (valued but not requiredhands-on experience is more important).Background in banking or financial services.
