Job Title

We are seeking a Senior Buyer for our clients busy procurement team. This position will oversee procurement and supply chain activities for our clients real estate and property management portfolio. The successful candidate will play an integral part in ongoing client and supplier relationship management, applying procurement policies, and executing the steps of full-cycle procurement.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, evaluate, and execute procurement strategies to achieve best value for the organizationPerform business intelligence and market analysis to guide and support business units for strategic and tactical procurement initiatives and category managementBuild and manage successful relationships with vendors and support vendor performance managementSource and procure goods and services using competitive processes, including preparing RFx documents and administrating the entire procurement cycle through an online bidding platformNegotiate with vendors and prepare agreements using template documents.Prepare executive-summary style documents for approval and reporting purposes.Work with client groups and with supporting business units such as Finance, Legal, and Risk to drive the procurement process.Key QualificationsA professional designation, such as Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)Minimum of eight (8) years recent experience in a large, complex organization providing procurement services ranging from day-to-day operations to capital construction projects.Ability to multi-task in a fast-moving, dynamic environment supporting multiple clients with varying goals and priorities.Strong knowledge and experience in executing full-cycle goods and servicesAbility to understand and apply procurement and organizational policies.Experience creating documents such as procurement strategies, RFx packages, contracts and reports.Proficiency in conducting market research and analysis.Highly skilled at building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholdersExcellent communication and leadership skills in managing cross functional teams and projects.A bachelors degree in business, commerce, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and work experienceStrong business and financial acumenIf you would like to be considered for this opportunity please forward your resume via email to Nick Paraskeva |
