FIELD SERVICES TECHNICIAN Location: Greater Vancouver Area Total Compensation: $60,000 $80,000/year (depending on experience and qualifications) Type: Full-Time, Permanent | Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM About the Role: Bloom Recruitment is hiring a Field Services Technician for a fast-growing MSP client. Youll be part of the frontline technical team, handling escalations both remotely and on-site. If you love solving complex IT issues, working independently, and helping businesses run smoothly, we want to hear from you! What Youll Do: Provide remote and on-site support for small and mid-sized business clients. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, and connectivity issues in Windows environments. Configure, deploy, and maintain workstations, servers, firewalls, switches, and wireless networks. Support Microsoft 365: onboarding/offboarding users, managing licenses, configuring Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams. Assist with Microsoft Azure: managing virtual machines, backups, and cloud storage. Monitor and respond to system alerts using RMM tools (Remote Monitoring and Management). Perform patch management, antivirus monitoring, backup checks, and routine system maintenance. Assist in infrastructure projects: server upgrades, migrations, network installations, and cloud migrations. Configure, troubleshoot, and secure VPN and firewall solutions. Maintain up-to-date documentation of client environments in HaloPSA. Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours emergency support. Conduct periodic on-site visits for hardware setups, assessments, or project work. Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong client relationships. Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and new technologies. What You Bring: Experience & Education: Minimum 3+ years experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. Diploma, certification, or formal education in IT or a related field. Technical Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills across desktops, laptops, printers, and imaging devices. Hands-on experience with server and network administration. Familiarity with disaster recovery platforms and backup restoration. Experience with PSA (Professional Services Automation) and RMM tools is a plus. Other Requirements: Excellent communication skills able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users. Ability to transport equipment to/from client or company locations (details to be discussed). Willingness to participate in after-hours emergency support when needed.
