Job Description

Project ManagerManage multiple projects individually and as a team, all simultaneously.Manage all aspects of project from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issuesManage project schedules and ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards and contractual legal requirements.Manage resources - Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to identify and allocate the necessary resources for each project including monitoring of subcontractors.Work with clients throughout the project life cycle to understand/set expectations, establish timelines and grow the relationship.Track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverablesDeliver progress reports, proposals, requirements, documentation and presentations to clients, consultants and Pine Valley senior managementProgress draws for billingWeekly/monthly (as required) site meetingsHealth and safety regulations are followedTechnical and operational issues as requiredCompiling prequalification bid packagesThe successful candidate will haveExcellent project management skills including prioritization, time management, problem solving skills, scheduling, and documentation.Proven ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Strong grasp of current communication, project tracking, budget management technologies.Solid technical understanding and ability to define and refine requirements through a project lifecycle.Employ strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage shifting priorities, demands and timelines.Ability to quickly learn, understand and apply new technologies.Willingly mentor more junior team members and share knowledge.Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced work environment.RequirementsBachelors degree in project management, structural engineering or landscape architecture.3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager or similar position responsible for defining and managing project scope, timelines, profitability, and effective delivery of products or services. PMI or PMP certification or similar designation would be an asset but is not required. Intermediate to advanced proficiency with industry-standard word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software programs
