AEM Platform ManagerPosition Summary As part of the Digital Platform team, the AEM Platform Manager will play a key role in delivering innovative and user-centric digital experiences. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall health, performance, and efficiency of the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform and its associated digital asset management (DAM) system. The ideal candidate will drive platform optimization, promote best practices, and support cross-functional collaboration across business units to ensure the effective use of digital assets and tools.In this role, you will also contribute to the continuous improvement and automation of DevOps processes, including digital code delivery and system integration. Youll work alongside a dynamic team of release engineers, developers, and business stakeholders to support timely and secure technology implementations.Key ResponsibilitiesDigital Asset ManagementOrganize and manage digital assets within AEM to support all business lines and channelsMonitor asset uploads to ensure metadata accuracy, naming conventions, and folder structure complianceDesign and maintain efficient workflows for ingestion, tagging, metadata, access rights, and searchabilityImplement governance standards for metadata, taxonomy, and DAM structureProvide architectural guidance on using AEM Assets to development teams and business unitsCreate documentation for asset management procedures and best practicesConduct regular audits to identify and remove outdated contentCollaborate with stakeholders through a DAM Governance Committee or Center of ExcellenceSystem Maintenance and OptimizationUse monitoring tools and reporting systems to track and improve AEM platform healthAct as the primary contact for AEM-related technical issues and coordinate with Adobe supportStay current with AEM releases and updates, assessing their impact and ensuring compatibilityManage configurations for domain settings, SSL, and IP rangesMonitor website traffic and manage Web Application Firewall (WAF) settings for enhanced securityExecute DAM cleanup and archiving activitiesIntegration and Cross-Team CollaborationLead integrations within AEM, including Adobe product connectorsWork closely with marketing, HR, creative, and content teams to ensure consistent asset usagePartner with vendors and third-party providers to ensure cohesive platform functionalityUser Support and TrainingProvision and audit AEM user accounts for internal and external usersDevelop and maintain user guides, training materials, and technical documentationProvide hands-on training and support for AEM Assets usersEnsure new features are tested and implemented according to technical and business requirementsSecurity and ComplianceEnforce compliance with digital asset governance policiesMonitor usage patterns and perform audits to ensure secure and appropriate accessManage permissions and access controls to safeguard sensitive contentRequired Experience & SkillsExperience in the financial services industryDeep understanding of the AEM platform, including Assets, Sites, and Cloud ManagerKnowledge of metadata best practices and digital asset workflowsSkilled in organizing and managing large digital asset librariesExperience with AEM integrations and Adobe product connectorsFamiliarity with Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTL, JSP, Sling Model, and JCRProficiency with version control tools and Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)Experience with automation and CI/CD pipeline toolsStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to train users across varying levels of technical proficiencyProblem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to platform improvementsEducationBachelors degree requiredMasters degree in technology or business preferredCore CompetenciesChange Management: Able to lead and support others through change while maintaining productivity and engagementVersatility and Resilience: Skilled at managing multiple initiatives within a dynamic environmentDevelopment of Others: Committed to fostering team growth through coaching, mentoring, and empowerment
