Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team at MEDLOG. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of trucks and trailers to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Key Accountabilities Perform necessary repairs efficiently, ensuring all tasks are completed within the scheduled timeframe. Communicate effectively and professionally with co-workers, customers, and service managers to foster a collaborative and respectful work environment. Adhere to all workplace safety and regulatory standards, including OHSA, WHMIS, company policies, and guidelines, while utilizing required PPE appropriately. Conduct maintenance and adjustments on a variety of components, including transmissions, clutches, rear ends, differentials, brakes, drive shafts, axles, and other assemblies. Possess and maintain personal tools required for completing assigned tasks. Uphold and promote the companys code of ethics in daily activities and team interactions. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in truck or trailer maintenance. Must be physically capable of performing the essential duties of the role, which include sitting, standing, kneeling, stooping, bending, lifting occasionally, and working in confined spaces. A valid Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification 310T A Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification 310J is preferred but not mandatory and considered an asset. Must hold a valid Class G Drivers License.
