ResponsibilitiesMonitor, analyze, and triage security alerts from tools such as Fortinet Firewalls, Azure Defender, CrowdStrike, Cisco Umbrella, and othersConduct initial response to security incidents, escalating and coordinating with relevant teams for full remediationTune detection rules, alert logic, and contribute to ongoing improvement of threat detection strategiesProvide regular reports and insights on threat trends, alert volumes, and SOC performance to leadershipAssist in refining SOC processes, playbooks, and documentation to increase efficiency and accuracyCollaborate cross-functionally with IT, DevOps, and Risk teams to strengthen the organizations security postureQualifications5+ years of experience in IT security, including 3+ years in a SOC Analyst or equivalent roleExpertise in network, endpoint, and cloud security, with strong hands-on experience using tools like CrowdStrike and Fortinet FirewallsProficient in analyzing threats, understanding attacker behavior, and interpreting logs from a wide range of security platformsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly document and explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiencesAbility to prioritize and manage multiple incidents in a dynamic, high-pressure environmentFluency in Spanish or Portuguese (spoken and written); security certifications (e.g., CISSP, GCIA, GCIH) and scripting skills in Python or PowerShell are a plusPay Rate: $85-100/hour Please note that the posted salary range for this role may vary based on seniority, qualifications, or prior experience.
