This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, enjoys preparing high-quality meals, and values teamwork and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Food Preparation & CookingPrepare ingredients and cook menu items according to standardized recipesEnsure food is cooked and presented to high quality standardsOperate grills, fryers, ovens, and other kitchen equipmentKitchen OperationsMaintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchenFollow proper food handling procedures and safety protocolsAssist with stocking and rotating inventoryTeam CollaborationWork alongside chefs, servers, and other kitchen staff to ensure timely serviceCommunicate effectively to coordinate kitchen flow during busy periodsQuality AssuranceMonitor portion sizes and presentation standardsReport any equipment issues or food supply shortages to the supervisorWork Schedule:8-hour shifts (morning, day, evening, or split)Full-time availability, including weekends and holidaysQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum 6 months of experience as a line cook (within Canada)Minimum 3 years of cooking experience (outside Canada)English proficiency with CLB 6 or higherStrong multitasking skills and attention to detailKnowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation standardsAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentCompensation and Benefits:Competitive hourly wage: $18.00 $21.00Paid time offOn-site parking (if available)Immigration Support:Our client is open to supporting selected candidates through:LMIA applicationsCanadian Experience Class, Express Entry, or Provincial Nominee ProgramsHow to Apply:Please send your resume to arpith@hirez.ca.
