Engineering Manager Steam Generator Replacement Project (Bruce Power) Our client is seeking a Engineering Manager to support the Steam Generator Replacement Project at Bruce Power . This role requires a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Ontario or the ability to obtain one, with 5+ years of nuclear engineering experience and 3+ years in leadership or management . Location: On-site at BP (100%) Full time permanent position - open to contractor status for the right candidate Base Salary: $175k - 200k + benefits Working hours: 40hr work week - must be flexible to work as per project demands Key Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership for the Steam Generator Engineering Design Team. Mentor and develop junior engineers , fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Oversee engineering deliverables related to design, construction, testing, commissioning, and plant operations. Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet project needs. Manage resources, work assignments, proposals, and cost estimates . Ensure compliance with high safety and quality standards in nuclear engineering. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering (advanced degree preferred). 5+ years of nuclear engineering or related experience. 3+ years in a leadership or management role. Strong understanding of CANDU reactor design, operations, and maintenance . Experience with engineering change control, nuclear codes, and standards . Familiarity with CSA N299.1-2016, CSA N291-15, National Building Code of Canada, OHSA, and PEO regulations . Expertise in process piping design, fluid dynamics, and heat exchangers . Prior experience at Bruce Power is an asset. Security clearance and Orange Badge qualification are preferred. Previous experience working on a construction site at a nuclear power plant preferred. This position is based onsite at Bruce Power and requires the ability to work in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team environment .
